Sex, Drugs and Snapchat - Social Media and Risk Taking Behaviors

On November 8, 2017, IMPACT and OPRF High School (Oak Park, IL) hosted award-winning author and speaker, Carrie Goldman, who led a discussion of social media and risk-taking behaviors including:

‣ How kids interact with popular apps like Instagram and Snapchat
‣ The addictive nature of social media and when to be concerned
‣ Potential consequences like cyber-bullying, substance abuse and sexual misconduct
‣ Strategies to help your child regulate their online behavior

The event was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of RF & OP, River Forest Township and the Roosevelt Middle School PTO
